Crossroads Business Centre I was the first phase of a 64-acre business park development by Higgins Development Partners in Brampton, Ontario. The largest speculative building in Canada at the time, the building is now leased to Thomson Terminals Inc., a logistics provider for food, consumer products and paper companies.
Maple Reinders was selected by Higgins Development Partners to design and construct the new facility. The Thomson Terminals building is approximately 400,000 SF and is a conventional steel structure with 40’ x 40’ bay spacing.
Because the shell building was originally designed to accommodate a wide variety of needs for future tenants, the partition walls and floor slab were not included. Three areas were roughly designated for office space and the remainder was slated for warehouse space. When Higgins leased the space to Thomson, Maple Reinders provided all interior finishes to suit Thomson’s business requirements.

Maple Reinders was selected to construct a 55,000 SF cross-dock, warehouse and office facility for Canadian Freightways. This location is also serviced by Epic Express.
Maple Reinders transformed the terminal into a modern, two-storey facility. To enhance the visual connection between the outdoors and the interior of the airport, the restaurant was relocated to the second floor with a view of the airstrip.
