Phoenix Contact – Milton

Maple Reinders was retained by Phoenix Contact to act as the Design-Build constructor for their new 24,588 SF Canadian Head Office in Milton, Ontario. Phoenix Contact is a global supplier of various industrial electro technology products. The facility was built to be utilized by a national network of distributors, direct salespeople and manufacturers’ representatives.

The Design-Build project consists of a new 17,200 SF two-storey office facility with a 7,388 SF warehouse. This scope included executive and general offices, boardrooms, training rooms, and a warehouse distribution facility. The building consists of steel framed construction on caisson and grade beam foundations. The façade is primarily aluminum panel and curtain wall design with some aluminum siding and architectural precast at the warehouse. A reflective TPO roof was utilized to increase the building’s energy efficiency. Interior finishes incorporate extensive glass partitions, granite floors and high STC ratings of all partitions throughout the facility.
