Maple Reinders was retained by Great-West Life Realty Advisors to undertake a major infrastructure upgrade and renovation for the London Life historic building, which represented the company’s largest single head office renovation project in Canada to date.
Maple Reinders was selected because of its experience in complex building restorations and redevelopments, and its familiarity with preserving the integrity of heritage buildings.
We were a part of the integrated owner/consultant/construction manager team, who as a cohesive group had to establish protocols for the intricate phasing to manage the precise balance between areas under renovation and swing space.

In order to provide a safe work environment and to minimize disruption throughout the head office complex, Maple Reinders relocated affected business units in stages over several phases of the project.

Maple Reinders undertook the Phase 2 and 3 extensions to their existing facility in Calgary. Which included construction of the 134,000 SF freezer/cold storage warehouse utilized reinforced concrete strip footings and pads, structural steel, insulated metal panels, SBS roofing.
Oxford Riverbend Building 6 is a 79,000 sf warehouse, manufacturing and office facility in Burnaby, BC.
Maple Reinders completed the Design-Build contract for the construction of this two-storey youth centre for the Trinity Baptist Church, located in Kelowna, British Columbia.
