Gordon Food Services Expansion – Milton

Maple Reinders was awarded a Design-Build contract by Gordon Food Services for the expansion of their facility in Milton. The expansion consisted of two additions at each end of the building, plus new parking for trailer and car parking areas.

The North addition was approximately 150,000 SF and consisted of a freezer, cooler, cooler dock, and office area. The South addition was approximately 27,000 SF of ambient warehouse. Much coordination was required as the existing building and parking areas were in operation 24×7 during construction, and Maple Reinders also had to tie into the existing building for water, fire protection systems, and refrigeration systems while in operation.
