Canadian Freightways provides transportation services such as less-than-truckload, truckload and parcel transportation, logistics consulting and management, warehousing, customs brokerage and ocean freight shipping to locations across Canada, the United States and Mexico. With service to over 50,000 points across the United States and Canada, the Canadian Freightways North American Network offers a complete supply chain solution package.
Maple Reinders was selected to construct a 55,000 SF cross-dock, warehouse and office facility for Canadian Freightways. This location is also serviced by Epic Express.
The facility includes 84 overhead doors, with bay spacing at 23 feet, and a minimum clear height of 20 feet. The office area includes lockers, showers, and an employee lunch room.
Maple Reinders was awarded the contract to construct a new corporate head office and truck terminal for Maritime-Ontario Freightworks. The new facility is located on a 65-acre site adjacent to CN’s Brampton Intermodal Terminal, with the capacity to park more than 400 trailers.
Maple Reinders was selected by Higgins Development Partners to design and construct the new facility. The Thomson Terminals building is approximately 400,000 SF and is a conventional steel structure with 40’ x 40’ bay spacing.

Industrial and Advanced Manufacturing
Legacy Business Centre houses 193,910 sf industrial condos over two buildings. Built by Maple Reinders for Beedie Construction, the individual condos range from 11,000 sf to 17,000 sf.
Institutional
The construction of the school took place while the existing Westbrook School (built in 1953) was in use for an entire school year. The contract included abatement and demolition of the existing school which was undertaken during the summer break.
Water/Wastewater Treatment
Design-Bid-Build contract by Glenmore Ellison Improvement District to construct a pump station and reservoir as part of the Ellison Separation upgrade works
