Grimsby Chrysler awarded Maple Reinders the contract for the construction of their new dealership. The contract incorporates several value engineering initiatives proposed by Maple Reinders to allow the facility to be constructed within the owner’s budget. The dealership focuses on a circular showroom behind a glass curtain wall, allowing for dramatic vehicle presentation. Sales offices, a customer waiting area, and an after-market boutique adjoin the showroom. The rear of the building houses the service shop, parts storage, and vehicle washbays. A lunch room, offices, meeting area and storage room are located on the second floor. The exterior building is finished in an attractive combination of glass, stucco and masonry block, allowing for a durable, maintenance free facade. Maple Reinders’ contract included extensive site work, including vehicle parking, raised vehicle display areas, and subtle security measures.
