Maple Reinders engaged in an extensive Construction Management process with Focus on the Family, a not-for-profit organization, to construct a three storey office building of 24,000 square feet on top of 15,000 square feet of enclosed parking structure. The facility is situated on a 1.6 acre site and is located in a place of visibility in the community, with easy access to the TransCanada Highway. The new building has a capacity of 104 people, and includes space for offices, boardroom, training centre, cafeteria, book store and other ancillary areas. The building was constructed of concrete and structural steel, with concrete, glazing and wall cladding exterior. Maple Reinders also fully developed the site with loading, parking and landscaping. The building is designed to provide up to 7,500 square feet (or 30 per cent) more office space for Focus on the Family staff.
