The federal government in Canada is promoting and utilizing the Public-Private-Partnership (P3) project delivery method for supporting municipal infrastructure of various types. As a strong proponent for, and seasoned provider of the design-build and design-build-operate project delivery models, Maple Reinders is ideally suited to respond to this type of solicitation.
Our interest in P3 projects includes multiple sectors including water, wastewater and organics treatment, as well as hospitals, other medical infrastructure and municipal buildings including offices, arenas, community centres and more.
Maple Reinders’ success in the P3 market includes successful delivery of the Lac La Biche Wastewater Treatment Plant in Alberta and our ongoing pursuit of additional projects of this nature from coast to coast in Canada.
More recently, Maple Reinders has been awarded the Design, Construction, Finance and Operation of an advanced in-vessel compost facility for the City of Calgary. When complete, this facility will treat over 140,000 tonnes of organic refuse and municipal sewage bio solids and will be the largest and most advanced of its kind in the Americas and the second largest of its kind in the world. Maple Reinders is pleased with this outstanding partnership with the City of Calgary.
